It's stil true, any version of KDE in openSUSE 11.1 is always forgetting the network details, so, they are totally unusable for wireless networking. However, I realized, that surprisingly Gnome's nm-applet can connect to my WPA network, despite wpa_supplicant's problem, but the WPA connections are always disconnecting, so I have to reconnect manually again.
