https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=849732 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=849732#c0 Summary: RC2 - Undefined video mode number 37e Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bam@NightStorm.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 During install I get a "Undefined video mode 37e and an option to "SCAN". If I select SCAN I get a list prefixed by some single character. I am asked to select an entry (confusing here: select the single "a-z" character or the video mode number?). Selecting one of the modes in the menu gives an "Undefined video mode number" (does not matter if I enter the video mode "37F" or the character "o). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.After booting to installer hit "F3" and select "1920x1200" video mode 2.Get the error "Undefined video mode" with an option to "SCAN" 3.Enter "SCAN". 4.Select one of the presented modes, either by menu character (a-z) or video mode number (37E). 5.Higher modes fail, even though the display is in the correct mode (1920x1200 for me). Actual Results: Failure. After 30 seconds the presentation times out and the install continues. Expected Results: Accept the mode? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
