Especially the first one should be documented in Release Notes. # xinetd logs to system log New default for xinetd changes the default target for logging from /var/log/xinetd.log to syslog. That means all messages from xinetd will appear in a system log as a facility daemon and log level info. Users willing to change it back will find a proper snippet in /etc/xinetd.conf. The template of logrotate script for xinetd.log can be found in /usr/share/doc/packages/xinetd/logrotate. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/172480 # tomcat logs to system log Tomcat startup scripts does no longer write the output to /var/log/tomcat/catalina.out. All messages are now redirected to syslog with tomcat.service (tomcat-jsvc.service) and log level info. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/172490 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
