Have you any of Stephan Binner's suggestions? Try deleting your plasma-appletsrc. You can do this by deleting it when not logged in or if you are logged in you can use ctrl-esc to bring up process monitor, kill plasma,then use alt-f2, open konsole, delete the file, then type plasma to restart plasma.
