https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=230730 ------- Comment #31 from walter.haidinger@gmx.at 2007-01-26 04:14 MST ------- In reply to comment #29: Glad you're able to reproduce. :-) I do not mind the number of errors logged, please do not waste any effort on this because that's just another manifestation of the bug. The best workaround to get rid of the bug (and the error logs) is from comment #3: Comment on the 'Listen /var/run/cups/cups.sock' line. Regarding tcpd: Access control can be done in cupsd.conf alone (just as for e.g. apache), so libwrap is definitely nice to have but not a requirement. Since 10.2, cups ships with a secure default (only listens on localhost), so anyone who wants to grant more access has to edit cupsd.conf anyways. Did the libwrap patch change from 10.1 to 10.2? My suspicion grows that the patch is not compatible with domain sockets introduced with cups 1.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
