The problem is I'm quite overloaded with even more important bugs right now (well, yes, there are such. It's just a bad timing, normally I would pay much more attention to this bug - freezing machine is not nice thing to work with). Could you please obtain the kernel log while the machine freezes? The easiest way is to connect the machine to another one on the same local network, and invoking (as root): On the "monitoring" machine (i.e. not the one with the bug): ifconfig (record the "HWaddr" and "inet addr:" fields) rcSuSEfirewall2 stop (or, if the machine is not running openSUSE, disable the firewall in an appropriate way, in the worst case by running iptables -F) netstat -u -l -p 6666 On the "debugging" machine: echo '9 4 1 7' > /proc/sys/kernel/printk modprobe netconsole netconsole=@/,@INETADDR/HWADDR (replace INETADDR and HWADDR with the values you recorded above) Then try to reproduce the bug and attach the output as seen on the monitoring machine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
