https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=204757 Summary: Firmware not available for Linksys wpc54g pcmcia card Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse@bout-tyme.net QAContact: qa@suse.de The card is recognized as a bcm4306 but I could not find any firmware on the install media. Found and downloaded firmware from Ubuntu site. I am not certain if the firmware is correct as the laptop locks solid after (this is just a guess) some energy saving mode starts. Removing the card wakes up the laptop. Also I cannot get the card to connect to the network unless I use Kinternet. Trying to use any other method fails even though all of the proper info was entered using YaST. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
