If you want to be able to boot when the NFS servers are not visible, you really need you use autofs to mount all NFS filesystem so they are only mounted on demand.
Is there a simple way to use autofs? Yast tells me to configure ldap module (assume it means the ldap server?) when I try to start yas autoyast, yast ldap server is not configurable. It tells: Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory) when using rcldap status. I need help to configure autoyast :(
That does /etc/nsswitch.conf show for passwd: and group: If you probably need passwd: files nis
didn't change anything, startup till login does take 7 minutes!
so that if the answer is found in 'files' then it doesn't bother going to 'nis'.
