https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1224773 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1224773#c52 --- Comment #52 from Jonathon Duvall <elvish.legion@gmail.com> --- I can't speak for Imo but the only thing I did to trigger the issue was installing the nvidia drivers as outlined in the wiki # transactional-update -i pkg install openSUSE-repos-NVIDIA then reboot # transactional-update -i pkg in nvidia-drivers-G06 nvidia-driver-G06-kmp-default nvidia-video-G06 nvidia-gl-G06 nvidia-compute-G06 then reboot again Once you reboot the second time the expectation ofcourse is the nvidia driver is loaded and working however an nvidia-smi shows that is not the case and that is when you can see the initrd file was generated (its in /boot) but it does not attach it properly and you have to manually attach it using transactional-update c shell and then manually adjusting the initrd as outlined. Hope this is helpful I'm happy to walk through the process on a fresh install whenever as well -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
