I suppose, you tried it while being connected? (Also I hope, the device node is /dev/noz*, maybe udev changes it?)
From all I can tell, it indeed is /dev/noz[0-3]. I see these three devices under /dev and NetworkManager says the following when I remove and insert the card again:
Apr 1 22:49:35 rana NetworkManager: <info> (/dev/noz0): cleaning up... Apr 1 22:49:35 rana NetworkManager: <info> (/dev/noz0): taking down device. Apr 1 22:49:42 rana NetworkManager: <info> /dev/noz0: driver is 'nozomi'. Apr 1 22:49:42 rana NetworkManager: <info> Found new GSM modem device '/dev/noz0'. Apr 1 22:49:42 rana NetworkManager: <info> (/dev/noz0): exported as /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/pci_1931_c_serial_unknown_0 Alas, 'lsof | grep noz' does not provide anything when the card is used.
How do you establish the connection?
With NetworkManager. When I plug in the card, it is automatically detected, see the excerpt from /var/log/NetworkManager above, and I find a new entry for the card in my NetworkManager menu, together with the wired network and various wirless networks currently in reach. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
