https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=246103 Summary: LCD to full brightness after Gnome screensaver Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: s.handgraaf@xs4all.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Running SuSE Linux 10.1 final on a IBM Thinkpad R40. This system has the option to adjust the brightness of the LCD screen. I alway use the Fn+END key combination to adjust the brightness from full to the lowest possible. After unlocking the Gnome screensaver I experience the manual controled LCD brightness is ignored by the system and the LCD is set to full brightness. The brightness can be adjusted again fine after this. I would expect the system to respect any manual settings after a screensaver was activated and deactivated. For now I have set the target component for this bug report to Gnome since only the Gnome screensaver seems to trigger this experienced behaviour. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
