Applications depending on that module and linked against the system version of the sqlite library will fail (like Firefox with the Brief add-on). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Firefox (optionally from repository) on openSuSE 11.1 2. Install Brief add-on (http://brief.mozdev.org/) and enable at least one RSS feed for Brief. 3. Check the feed for new entries and click on the feed icon after the update. Actual Results: New entries will be shown as available but can not actually be viewed. An error message will appear in the error console window: Fehler: uncaught exception: [Exception... "'Error: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [mozIStorageConnection.createStatement] Stack: undefined Database error: no such module: fts3' when calling method: [nsIBriefQuery::getFullEntries]" nsresult: "0x8057001c (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_JS_OBJECT)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://brief/content/feedview.js :: FeedView_refresh :: line 784" data: no] Expected Results: The new feed entries should be shown in the view pane for the feed. see also: Bug #468689 - brief extension doesn't work in firefox (version opensuse:from repository) is filed against Firefox, please see the discussion there on why it isn't really a problem with Firefox. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
