The good news is that the originally reported bug is fixed -- with mousetweaks enabled, I can now bring up the context menu of a title bar without causing the window to move. The bad news is that it's still effectively unusable. The feature itself works fine, but enabling mousetweaks has the unfortunate side effect of changing the mouse pointer...to something "wrong." In this case, "wrong" means "pixelated, translucent, and doubled" -- my pointer has two tips. Alas, I don't know how to get a screengrab of the cursor. So I'll make do with ASCII art. A normal cursor: |\ | \ | _\ |/\ \ My "wrong" cursor: |\ | \ |\| \ i.e. it looks like two cursor tops, with one far lower than the other, and the cursor "tail" doesn't exist. It's also very blocky (hard to do in ASCII art). Furthermore, If I go to Control Center -> Appearance -> Theme Tab -> [ select current theme ] -> Customize... -> Pointer Tab, select a pointer icon (e.g. DMZ), and change the Size slider (e.g. by clicking the slider, then using the keyboard left/right arrow keys to adjust the position), the pointer is fixed. Yay. Move the cursor, and e.g. click on the desktop, move a window, etc., and it's back to it's broken state. Boo. What seems to be the problem is that mousetweaks "takes over" the pointer for custom graphics. If you hold down the primary mouse button over the desktop, I can see the pointer change colors, starting from the top and moving downward, somewhat like a progress bar. My guess is that this behavior renders the pointer cursor otherwise useless. :-( -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
