https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=334499 Summary: enhance opensuseupdater's "add/remove update- reporsitory" functionality Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sven.burmeister@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- When the user did not yet set-up an update-source, opensuseupdater tells him to use the "add/remove update-repo" from its context-menu. Yet if the user does so, i.e. "change installation-source" is opened, there is no easy way to add a repo since one still has to know the Url to add. To solve this there are several possibilties. 1. opensuseupdater would not open any Yast-module but just add download.opensuse.org... as source. 2. There could be a "update source" item in the list of sources that appears when the user clicks on "add", which simply adds the http://download.opensuse.org... 3. Opensuseupdater could open the community-repos module since it has an item that just needs to be ticked in order to add an update-source. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
