Since it works now and proper resolution is pretty important for ffeling comfortable when working with opensuse, I hesitated to change anything. I am not familiar with xrandr, we just looked on the internet for the commands to use and tried it. So if you could tell me which files except the xorg.conf I have to save in order to be able to restore the current state after trying out a different resolution, I will provide the data. I'm not sure we tried to switch the resolutions, i.e. assume that the secondary head is the panel, so it might be worth a shot. If sax2 is not the best option to configure dual-head, would it not make sense to tell the user so, or at least give a hint within sax2 that if things do not work out, he should try krandrtry or gnome's equivalent? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
