I'm sorry for the delay! I analized the y2logs, and do'nt find neither reference to the adsl setting, and this computer is from a friend which lives at 50 kilometers of my home. I copied the y2logs to his home, and asked it to sent it to me via email, but it do'nt sent it yet. In my pc I use the adsl with a modem router set as a dhcp server, and then, I do'nt need to setup the adsl, because the modem makes the login to the network. I configured succesfully the dsl connection on my friend pc, editing by hand the file ifcfg-dsl0, because when I changed the adsl modem router, and try to configure it via yast, it do'nt update the ip of the modem, and the network card, because yast maintains the old ip's of the network card, and the old modem, and do'nt shows the adsl devices on the window of the dsl yast module. If I do in konsole "route -n", the network card eth0, appear with 2 different ip's. I tryed to configure the dsl connection using the KDE CD Live build 451, and in this case, after configuring the dsl connection, and before closing the window of the dsl yast module, it showed the configured dsl device, but after closing this window and opening again, it do'nt appear. Now, before I make the connection with qinternet, if I do in konsole "ifconfig", only appear l0 and eth0, and after made the connection with qinternet, then appear the 3 devices: dsl0, eth0, and l0. I hope this info can help You! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
