https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=255686 ------- Comment #1 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2007-03-18 19:20 MST ------- I can also find gdm-gdmsetup-rootonly.patch which adds X-KDE-RootOnly=true. No idea what the intention of this patch is. X-KDE-RootOnly=true has a different meaning under GNOME and KDE. GNOME seems to think that it is the same as X-KDE-SubstituteUID and runs gnomesu, but it is not the same and KDE doesn't run kdesu for such .desktop files. Maybe the intention was "show only to root"? In that case drop it and extend the other patch. Or the intention was "can only be run with root privileges and should therefore ask for the root password"? In that case change it to use X-KDE-SubstituteUID and drop the other patch. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
