https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=195187 ------- Comment #6 from sol_astronomy@yahoo.com 2007-03-31 13:11 MST ------- After some research, I think I have a method to trigger this effect. Install xine-lib + xine ui from web, play a 5.1 file (not necessarily a DVD) from the command line and kill the process with ctrl-c. All digital sound will be gone except for 5.1 channel files. It can be fixed by opening the sound module in yast (only opening it is enough). (This is in openSuse 10.2). There is a way to permanently kill digital sound: not doing the fix and restarting the computer. It also happened to me using gmplayer (it's crashing with Xgl when going fullscreen). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
