https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1202126 Bug ID: 1202126 Summary: GParted doesn't work because pkexec doesn't exist Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: MicroOS Assignee: kubic-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: khanich.opensource@gmx.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- So, as it turns out, since pkexec was split out of the polkit package, some software like GParted breaks, because they don't depend on it. It is not the only one, but a more major one since it doesn't even start without it. Grsync for example can't run as the super user (a setting under advanced) either. Installing the pkexec package helped in both cases tho. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
