Is the 15.5 tested on the whole Leap 15.5 system? Or it's Leap 15.5 kernel on top of the (working) 15.4 system? At this point, please try to keep the user-space same as working, but change only the kernel; that is, boot with Leap 15.5 kernel while keeping the rest as the working-hibernation environment (15.4).
