All the BETA versions of SLES-11-SP1-64 are not having "acpi_memhotplug" module! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create a Virtual Machine of SLES11-SP1-64BIT by using either "VMware Workstation 7" or "VMware ESX Server 4" 2) Enable the Memory Hot Plug functionality for the VM 3) Power ON the VM 4) Make sure that "Memory Hot Plug" is enabled in the kernel (inside the guest, i.e. in SLES11-SP1-64) 5) Now, before hot adding the memory, try to insert the following modules 1) acpiphp 2) acpi_memhotplug one can insert the acpiphp module, but can't find the acpi_memhotplug module! with out "acpi_memhotplug" module, one can't hot add the memory to the guest, guest OS will never recognize the new memory without this module. Actual Results: Unable to use the hot added memory, because unable to find "acpi_memhotplug" module.
