key repeat problem with KDE User presses one key, programs receive multiple keys. If KDE Key Repeat Settings (kcontrol->keyboard) are turned off, this seems to be better. the Text Console (Ctrl+Alt+F1) has no key-repeat problem.
some random other strange problems
Workaround: use the kernel parameter "clock=pit" and all seems to work fine. see also my posting in newsgroup alt.os.linux.suse: http://groups.google.de/group/alt.os.linux.suse/browse_frm/thread/ffec73fe35... since then, the kernel got updated at least once without fixing the problem. Current installed kernel having this problem: kernel-smp-2.6.16.21-0.25 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
