Trying to connect to remote system, running OpenSUSE 11.1 When connecting to the remote system, using XDMCP, after logging in, the display goes black with only the mouse cursor showing. The keyboard is completely unresponsive. I cannot use C-A-D to reboot, nor C-A-BKSP to restart X. I can connect to that computer from another one, using ssh, to reboot or halt the computer. Rebooting clears the locked keyboard & black screen. I use XDMCP frequently between computers and do not experience this, when all computers are running 11.0. I upgraded two computers to 11.1 and I can no longer use XDMCP to access those computers. I can use it between the two computers running 11.1. This problem also occurred with the upgrade to 11.0. It does not affect access using Xming on Windows XP. To verify this, set up one computer with OpenSUSE 11.0 and another with 11.1 and see what happens, when using XDMCP between them. I have four computers here running OpenSUSE, different makes and models, one 64 bit and the others 32 bit. The problem will affect all of them, so it's not likely a hardware issue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
