https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=224114 Summary: mkbootdisk contains references to < 10 installation floppies Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: i686 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Andreas.Stieger@gmx.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com The 10.2-RC1 boot/i386/mkbootdisk creates 13 floppy images. The script, however, contains information which assumes a single character in the filename is used. The image is split using variable width numeric counting, not alphanumeric. The instruction splitting, editing and rejoining will result in incorrect data: cat bootdisk? ... doesn't get all 13 images. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
