https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=239611 Summary: Media is mounted under a random user with multiple X sessions Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: tvrtko@ursulin.net QAContact: qa@suse.de For example when two KDE session are active (vt7, vt8) and a removable media is inserted (CD, USB, ...) containing FAT filesystem, it will be mounted under one of the two users, but it is not deterministic which one. That basically forces the user to reinsert until it gets lucky. (Assuming no access to the other session) Whether it is technically possible for automounter to check for the active VT and corresponding UID I don't know, but it is pretty annoying with the current behaviour. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
