Sorry, but this is for group encryption? The comment in your /etc/login.defs doesn't say anything about groups. So should YaST read/write ENCRYPT_METHOD for user password settings, and not call pam-config here? Or should it call pam-config AND set ENCRYPT_METHOD for user passwords?
