Jozef, Jens- Please test the Kernel in Comment #11 and provide information requested in Comment #10. Thanks.
I have installed the kernel that you provided. It starts booting, but then hangs at a very early stage, displaying this message: Loading drivers, configuring devices: [ 5.855483] e1000e 0000:00:19.0: pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting failed 0xfffffffb The strange thing about this is that the production kernel of 11.2 also displays this message, but then continues normally. So I can provide the register dump only for the production kernel of 11.2. Output of ethregs is attached. I have put the ethregs command into /etc/init.d/boot.local, but I am not sure if this is what Bruce meant by "before the driver loads". It is executed before the interface is brought up, but probably not before the module is loaded. My system is a Fujitsu Esprimo P9900 with Phoenix BIOS version "6.00 R1.03.2912.A1". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
