http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559433 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559433#c0 Summary: webYaST: multiple EULA screens is bad usability Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: WebYaST AssignedTo: kkaempf@novell.com ReportedBy: mschmidkunz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- The user needs to accept multiple EULAS when running webYaST for the first time. In order to make the presentation and acceptance procedure as unannoying for the user as possible I`d suggest to make only one EULA screen where the multiple EULAs can be accepted. Similar to bnc #559428 the proposal would be: ----------------------------------- License Terms [ ] I accept the license terms for the basic operating system [Show License Terms] [ ] I accept the license terms for the webYaST appliance [Show License Terms] [ ] I accept the license terms for additional programm A [Show License Terms] Back [Next] ----------------------------------- The user could see the license terms when he clicks on the [Show License Terms] button. Either as a pop up or (what would be cooler) they would be shown via jquery.
