https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463225 Summary: Display half off screen using intel video driver Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: mrkfbrn@yahoo.co.nz QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Community User Since 10.3 the new intel video driver has been used to replace teh old i810 driver. However, I have always had problems with the new driver with half of the desktop screen being half off the side of the monitor so I can only see half the display. I always corrected this by reverting to the old i810 driver. It would seem that it is not possible to revert to i810 in Opensuse 11.1. At least the command sax2 -r -m 0=i810 does not work In 10.3 in addition to the above issue I could not change my screen resolution. At least this appears to have been corrected. On boot the screen is aligned perfectly. Once KDE4 loads the entire screen is right off to the left. There are some buttons in sax2 for moving the screen position but these do absolutely nothing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
