YaST2 sw_single would for sure profit from it as well, because otherwise the user will have to quit and restart YaST-Sw-Single in order to get his recent changes applied, something the user will not expect. Even other programmes with an install-feature-on-demand feature like some YaST network modules or perhaps other 3rd party software could register their own listener (even open/save file dialogues do). If libzypp exposed such a dbus system event source for repository catalogue changes that would at least ascertain that there is a central point for things like repository enable/disablements, add/del-actions or refreshes. It would make things easier for both users and developers. f.i. I do not really like the infringed yast-enter-repository-url-dialogue, which pops up if Yast finds out that the package to be installed is not available during the installation process. If the thing about repository-altertion-events should anyhow be worth further considerations I will open up a new feature request for it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
