And I cannot use it, until I leave it alone for a moment. I stopped counting at about 50 of these Blocks only for today. Moreover the mouse pointer might jump to arbitrary positions (often on the screens edges). --- Mar 25 17:54:06 Linux-Host kernel: Synaptics Touchpad, model: 1, fw: 4.1, id: 0x848a1, caps: 0x0/0x0 Mar 25 17:54:06 Linux-Host kernel: input: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad as /class/input/input3 If these last two lines follow immediately, my touchpad is reduced to a kind of fallback (one or two times a day). The sensitivity is extremely high and its very hard to aim at something. The scrolling (horizontal and vertical) is deactivated and I cannot tap anymore (no leftclick in center, no right and no middle button in the respective corners). Functionality is restricted to the touchpad-area for moving and the extra hardware buttons to click only. As a workaround, I switch user and immediately log back into my Session with Ctrl+I. Already in the login-prompt, I can feel the mouse pointer calm down. But there is nothing to test, if scrolling works. But once I'm back in my session, everything seems fine (scrolling & tapping & dragging). Other than stated in Bug 164093 I could not see anything related to ACPI. The only mention I found was every boot, ACPI reports the battery and the different power buttons.
