http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547926 Summary: YAST 2 Software update insists on changing bundle-lang package Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: colin.pendred@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-3.2 Firefox/3.5.3 When using YAST2 software update and selecting "All packages -> Update if newer version available" a different version of the bundle-lang-kde package is chosen. It is not possible to deselect it without Yast automatically selecting a different version. It goes through the packages sequentially until it gets to bundle-lang-kde-zh, at which point it won't let you deselect it. I normally have bundle-lang-kde-en selected as my native language. This behaviour is not seen when using zypper up from the command line. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open YAST2 Package Manager 2. Select All Packages -> Update if newer version available 3. Try to deselect the language package Actual Results: A new language is selected, even if bundle-lang-kde-en is already installed Expected Results: Should not attempt to install a different language pack -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
