https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=490452 Summary: Firefox crashes when removable device is disconnected Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dsumsky@uniscomp.cz QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=283005) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=283005) xsession-errors User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; cs-CZ; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032600 SUSE/3.0.8-1.1 Firefox/3.0.8 When I want to access any type of removable media like usb memory disk or cd media, firefox crashes. By access I means when I try to open something from the media or when I try to write to it and then I disconnect the media. The only evidence of crash appears in ~/.xsession-errors which is attached. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run firefox, open www.google.com 2. connect usb memory disk 3. save the page to the disk 4. disconnect the disk Actual Results: firefox crashes, error is logged to ~/.xsession-errors Expected Results: firefox shouldn't crash on removable media disconnection This behaviour appeared after reinstallation of opensuse 10.1 first (clear reinstall without upgrade). I used the same mozilla profile from ~/.mozilla (to keep my bookmarks, certs, extensions, addons). But, when I remove it and try to reproduce the behaviour without ~/.mozilla, firefox crashes anyway. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
