https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=276989 Summary: ltrace doesn't trace calls made by libraries Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: olh@novell.com ReportedBy: max@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de When I try to ltrace /usr/bin/wish, which only contains a few calls into libtcl and libtk, only those calls are printed, but not the calls libtcl and libtk make into other libraries, such as libc and libX11. In comparison, when I ltrace a wish executable that has been linked statically against libtcl and libtk, I get almost 13MB of ltrace output from a wish that starts up and exits immediately. I've experienced this on a 10.2-x86_64 installation with ltrace and ltrace32 from 10.2 and 10.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
