http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=629993 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=629993#c0 Summary: Tab control in the 11.3 "Computer" popup is broken Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: lvl@omnitec.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 With previous versions, <tab> allowed switching to the right-hand column, enabling, at the very least, normal shutdown without a mouse. With 11.3, tabbing to the right-hand column is no longer possible. A better solution would be to set key shortcuts to the important commands in the right-hand column, e.g. h = shutdown, g = logout, k = Lock Screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.<ctl><esc> to open "Computer" tab 2.Try to select command in the RH column without using the mouse 3.Impossible. Actual Results: Many systems now have mouse/pointer problems with the new xorg.conf structure, so breaking the tab order forces hard reboots in many cases, which risks data corruption/loss. Expected Results: Cannot select any system commands from the right-hand column. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
