https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437151 Summary: Changing Network settings via SSH kills network Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andrew@joako.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Community User If I change any network settings via YaST2 via an SSH session, the network drops when the settings are applied. When I visit the machine locally and issue the 'ifconfig' command the relevant network connection is not up, using 'rcnetwork restart' or 'ifconfig eth0' brings the connection back up. I tested this against 10.3 and it works as expected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
