https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=765409 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=765409#c0 Summary: partitioner: missing btrfs subvolumes in 'import' mode Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jeffm@suse.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: Development Blocker: --- Tonight I did a fresh install with 12.2-Beta1 and used the "import" mode in the partitioner to keep my current layout. It worked well except for one minor nit. The "Reformat system partitions" option selected the correct partitions and chose the correct file system types, however it didn't create the default subvolume layout automatically. In order to do that, I had to edit the partition containing the root file system, select "Do not format" and then re-select "Format." Then it had the default subvolume layout. The expected behavior, for me, is for the "Format system volumes" to perform the same actions as selecting the "Format partition" options for each system volume manually. BTW, I *love* the disk layout graph. It would be great if there was a way to make that the default view. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
