https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=704785 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=704785#c0 Summary: Wish: Present the date of the last successful build in search results Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: 2.5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: webui AssignedTo: adrian@novell.com ReportedBy: amilcar@kdevelop.org QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 One of my biggest problem with OBS is that the project descriptions do not tell _why_ did the project branched the main package. What is the difference to the standard flavored package. But that is really hard to fix, it would require changing and correcting the description on thousands of packages, and educating the users to provide a _proper_ description. That is not doable. But what is doable is presented version info on the search results (689507) and presenting the date of the last successful build on the search results. This will allow the users to see how up-to-date a particular package is. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Do a search 2. Scratch your head trying to figure out which package is the most up-to-date. Expected Results: Every search hit provides information on the date of the last successful build. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
