http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547984 Summary: Respect locale settings for the system clock (get rid of AM/PM) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pBakhuis@Gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090909 SUSE/3.5.3-3.2 Firefox/3.5.3 The clock in KDE4.3 (bottomright, on the panel) is showing the time using AM/PM while during the installation I specified it should use the locale settings for The Netherlands and we don't use the AM/PM format here. We -always- use the 24 hour format. I can't remember having to deal with this manually previously so I assume it worked properly in 11.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE while selecting Region "Europe", Country "The Netherlands" with the KDE desktop 2. Start up openSUSE Actual Results: Clock is set to 12 hour am/pm format Expected Results: Clock is set to 24 hour format -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
