This bug is all about having 5 different ways to set or change the clock in a KDE4 workspace...We have had the never ending issue of duplication of control methods being Yast and KDE Control Module...As of 11.4 there is less duplication, however until be totally assimilate KDE control Module into Yast or get rid of Yast and use only KDE Control Module there will always be duplication of most all control application and/or some that need doing in Yast and others need doing in KDE Control Module. If you trying to teach anyone how to administer a KDE4 workspace, its almost impossible to justify why we set some things in Yast and other must be done in KDE Control Module. As a usability issue we fail dismally in this area...With setting the time, 'just how do you want me to answer a new persons question of "Why are there 5 different ways of setting the time" How do you answer that to set up all Display functions we use KDE Control Module and yet the sound or printer is done in Yast? I'll leave this as closed as wontfix, because we can fix the duplication until either we combing KDE Control into Yast or get rid of Yast and use only KDE Control..Its cool for me to leave this as closed for future reference if nothing else :-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
