But, you should record stereo streams from both pins, not mono, and check whether the channels aren't inverted. For example, some internal (mostly digital) mic devices give an inverted PCM in one channel. Summing both channels give almost only a noise, but each channel as a mono stream can be heard clearly. What is on the right channel of pin 0x12 actually (suppose the left channel of 0x12 is the right signal)? Is it a white noise or silence?
