https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=430396 Summary: Unable to set desktop wallpaper Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: masterpatricko@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=242098) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=242098) X-Session errors Using latest KDE4:Factory:Desktop packages libkde4-4.1.1-52.2 kdebase4-4.1.1-42.1 kdebase4-runtime-4.1.1-48.2 kdebase4-workspace-4.1.1-96.1 kdebase4-workspace-branding-openSUSE-11.0-81.12 branding-openSUSE-11.0-12.1 It is not possible to change the desktop wallpaper from the default SuSE green openSUSE110-1600x1200 image. Selecting a different image updates the preview but clicking 'OK' or 'Apply' does not change the desktop wallpaper. No error is shown. When reopening the Desktop Settings dialog the openSUSE wallpaper is selected again. My xsession-errors has several Errors but I'm not sure they are related to plasma/desktop. Tried both with pictures from my home directory and other openSUSE pictures (e.g. the openSUSE103 ones). Happens with every activity/containment. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
