I start the same wine emulated apps as I had in 11.2, picasa or any newly installed application and I get this issue. A message box appears telling me that display settings have changed (a display output has been removed), the attached screenshot illustrates this. The real problem is that window will keep on reappearing and plenty of them will overlap (up to 80 or more) and will dramatically slow down my system. I often have to restart X (ctrl+alt+backspace) to ultimately suppress this problem. This bug is extremely annoying and prevents me from using my wine or any wine-related app (crossover offce, picasa). Thanks in advance, Quentin Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a wine application and you will get plenty of these boxes (up to 80 or more if your system can handle such a load) 2. disable the desktop effects and do step one above, you will get 2 message boxes, usually. These could reappear during the time you use the wine app. 3. it recently happened without any wine running. (I had aMule and VirtualBox running, but none has previously caused troubles). -> more than 80 boxes, had to ctrl+alt+backspace my X server -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
