We currently are having to work around this bug with a kludgey patch in qemu. Could you please consider either including the commit from the acpica git repo, commit id: 04d10e3c1f41a776cbed96dce2326ee649b9a0f0 or the December release of acpica (coming out soon), so that we don't have to work around this deficiency.
