Hoever, if I edit /etc/init.d/boot.udev and change udev_timeout=180 to 5, I get this: [ 7.143457] ieee1394: Host added: ID:BUS[0-00:1023] GUID[cf0a00000000028d] [ 7.210243] ieee1394: Host added: ID:BUS[1-00:1023] GUID[001e8c000189e2ba] [ 12.835361] Adding 5245184k swap on /dev/sda6. [ 74.932999] loop: module loaded here the 60 sec time out is due to boot.lvm I have to emphsize that this does not happen on every machine. In another machine using similiar but different motherboard and cpu, booy-up is smooth. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
