http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=549081 Summary: Sleep/suspend to ram via battery widget/kickoff won't resume Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: martin.schlander@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; da) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 If I use "sleep" in the battery widget or "suspend to RAM" from Kickoff, my box will suspend. But trying to resume, it sounds like it's actually resuming (disk spinning up and such), but the screen stays black. I've tried disabling "screen lock on resume" in powerdevil settings, but it doesn't change anything. If I simply run 's2ram' in a root konsole, everything works absolutely peachy - so I'm guessing it must be a kde/powerdevil/solid(?) issue. This is a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook E8110 with Intel 945 gfx. I'm almost certain I've tested suspend to RAM via the battery widget on an earlier 11.2 milestone where it worked fine.
