https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=347623 Summary: sudo: $TERM env botched Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer When sudo is called from cron, it will set the "TERM" environment variable to "unknown" (previously: cron sets it to "dumb"). Setting it to unknown however makes programs such as asterisk spew out unnecessary warning messages. I think it should be left at what cron set it to. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
