https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468211 Summary: [Mandriva 2007] for some reason ld started to generate invalid Requires Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bitdealer@gmail.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-DE; rv:1.8.1.19) Gecko/20081213 SUSE/2.0.0.19-0.1 Firefox/2.0.0.19 For some reason my openvas-server packages in security:openvas:[UN]STABLE started fail on Mandriva 2007 64 bit with: nothing provides devel(linux-vdso(64bit)) needed by libopenvasnasl-devel although openvas-libnasl builds just fine and it (openvas-server) also earlier build just fine for Mandriva 2007. The only thing I changed in the .spec is adding if 0%{?mandriva_version} == 2009 BuildRequires: pinentry-gtk %endif to fix builds for Mandriva 2009 which shouldn't change anything for 2007. Therefore I guess that something got changed in your internal configuration which now leads to ld generating invalid Requires for libopenvasnasl-devel since it generates a dependency to a non existing package. URLs to the relevant packages: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=openvas-server&project=secur... https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=openvas-libnasl&project=secu... PS: On a totally unrelated note: Entering stuff in that 6 lines heigh input field is kinda painful. Would be great if that could be changed to either a bigger one or an autoexpanding one.
