It is almost impossible to configure monitors as root, since after you did the choice and click "apply", the monitors doesn't display correctly anymore.
Which means that such a setup doesn't work with your graphics card.
I tried to click "accept configuration", and then logged out, logged in again as root, the configuration isn't saved, both monitors display the same.
Sure we don't want to save a non-working setup.
Which xorg.conf file should be changed? /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-monitor.conf ? Can you attach an example please?
NVIDIA's Twinview configuration isn't that simple.
