Can you please open /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-hp.fdi. There's the line: <match key="/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer:system.board.version" string="65.2B" The last "65.2B" must read "65.28" in your case. Can you please change this and reboot and retry?
